Please Note. - Members of weekend parties, either camping or hut, are asked to bring three teaspoons of tea.
Saturday and Sunday, July 5-6: Ngaro-te-Kotare Week-end: Nugget’s Lookout - 1.25 p.m. train to Henderson, via Valley Road, Kauri Knoll Ridge to Ngaro-te-Kotare. Sunday, McElwains, West Coast Road, track to Nugget's Lookout. Lunch Christie's Bridge. To Titirangi via Christie's and Hamilton's tracks. Fare, Henderson 1/8 single. Bus 1/3. Leader, Marge Sykes.
Saturday, July 12: Junior Section: Mokoroa - Taupaki Hill. - Leave Auckland 8.55 a.m. train for Waitakere. Tramp across country from Wairere Road to stream, return via Taupaki Hill 5.44 p.m. train from Waitakere. Fare, 2/2 return. Leader, Fay Rowe. Senior Co-operative, J. Booth.
Saturday and Sunday, July 12-13: Ngaro-te-Kotare Week-end. - 1.25 p.m. train Saturday to Swanson. Sunday, down Fairy Falls creek and walk to Henderson. Train leaves 5.58 p.m. Fare, 1/11 return. Leader, Dorothy Linton.
Sunday, July 13: Fairy Falls. - Road, bush and stream. Leave Auckland by 9.15 a.m. train for Henderson. Tramp up Dreamlands Road and meet weekenders at Fairy Falls. Return to bridge via stream. Train leaves 5.58 p.m. Fare, 1/8 return. Leader of Sunday and combined party, Dick Jones.
Saturday, Sunday, July 19-20: Ngaro-te-Kotare Week-end. - Meet Sunday party at Anawhata turn-off and accompany them to Lone Kauri Farm. Tramp, down tracks to Pararaha for lunch, return to Lone Kauri via Karekare and Opal stream track. Fare, train 1/8 single. Bus 2/6 single. Notify Tours Officer by Tuesday, July 15. Leader, Min. Barr.
Sunday, July 20: Also Junior Trip. - Leave Symonds Street Post Office via special bus at 10 a.m. sharp for Lone Kauri Farm. Return from same paint at 5 p.m. Accompany week-enders to Pararaha and Karekare. Open country, bush and coast walk - a really fine trip. Notify Tours Officer by Tuesday, July 15. Leader of Sunday and combined party, Buck Taylor.
Saturday and Sunday, July 26-27: Cycle Trip to Te Hapua from Papakura. - Route to be decided later. Train leaves Auckland at 8.25 a.m. Saturday, via Newmarket. Return from Papakura at 5.45 p.m. Sunday. Fare, 2/2 return. Cycle tickets extra. Leader, George Hewitt.
Ngaro-te-Kotare is also open to members this week-end.
Saturday, August 2: Junior Section: Cascades. - Leave Auckland 8.55 a.m. train for Swanson. Tramp via Filters track and Pukematakeo to Cascades. Return via road to Swanson. 5.47 p.m. train. Fare, 1/11 return. Leader, Alan McNeish. Senior Co-operative, Bob Cooper.
Saturday and Sunday, August 2-3: Ngaro-te-Kotare Week-end. - Leave Auckland 1.25 p.m. train to Swanson. On Sunday, tramp via Anawhata Road to Kuataika Trig and lunch at Earle's Court. Proceed to Swanson via Smythe's Ridge, lower Kauri track and Anderson's track. Train leaves Swanson 5.49 p.m. Fare, 1/11 return. Leader, John Barr.

Sunday, August 3: Rangitoto. - Launch leaves launch steps at 9.30 a.m. if trams are running to usual Sunday timetable, or 10.15 a.m. otherwise. Return from Rangitoto at 4.30 p.m. Fine views of the gulf and city from the top. Fare, 2/6 return. Leader, Harry Wilson.
WINTER TRIP TO NATIONAL PARK - Accommodation for 14 has been booked at Salt Hut from August 4 to August 18. Notifications, together with £1 deposit, must be made by Tuesday, July 8, and the balance by Tuesday, July 15. Inclusive cost for one week £5/2/6, and for two weeks £7/12/6. Hire of skis will be extra. Leader will be announced later.
