Khaojep of bell metal are oval in size and design with approximately 20 cm in high and 30 cm in diameter. 

Cultural Narrative: 

Khajep is a Dimasa traditonal basket used for keeping precious belongings of Dimasa women. Khaojep is made of bamboo, cane and bell metal by the elderly Dimasa men. It is also a symbol of family heritage in the Dimasa society and history with deep knowledge of art and craft making and design from the ancient times. There are different types of Khaojep with its unique design and importance. 

Traditional Knowledge: 

Khaojep is one of the inherent traditional types of knowledge of design and importance for safety keeping of belongings of women and it is also a source of earning for Dimasa elderly men. This traditional knowlege system of Khaojep making has been passing from generations to generations in Dimasa community.
